Casa Blanca - Reservar uma mesa

Even though I dated the visit in October 2013, it was really during the spring of last year. I must say that I am disappointed to write this report, as we had often visited this restaurant. I personally enjoyed the lentil soup, which was always a treat for me.However, on this occasion, my wife and I were treated to one of the worst experiences ever in St. Sauveur.We arrives, were seated, and then left to wait, and wait, and wait! Finally, a waitress arrived, asked if we would like somethign to drink. We chose a bottle of wine and it was brought to our table, uncorked and poured. My wife sampled it and that was all we had of the wine.Again we waited and waited for someone to take our orders....

This restaurant does offer other dishes in the menu, however, I strongly suggest you first try any of the couscous combination plates they offer. It comes with a choice of either a soup or a small salad which is quite nice. The wine list contains a Moroccan wine which is actually quite palatable and not too dear. They do serve cold water and bread and butter before the couscous comes...be careful - the portions are hefty enough to fill you up. They also serve a good mint tea and pour it from nice metal pitchers - it is very sweet unless to ask for very little sugar or none. The restaurant is located in the centre of Saint Sauveur, with plenty of parking outside or across the street. The decor of the restaurant is nice and the menu is extensive. However, when we arrived there was only one other couple and the place was almost empty because the weather was bad and there was a hockey match on the TV. But the waitress insisted that we sit in a table for two even though it was tight. She put us right next to the fireplace and after a few minutes we began to overheat, so she turned off the fire. Just think of a Lamb, chicken, duck and mergez Tajine with a touch of confit of lemon, almonds and ginger...! Located in the center of Saint Sauveur with a terrasse for the warm season and fire place inside for the cold one. The quality and price ratio is very good.
