Casa Moran - Reservar uma mesa

This is a lovely traditional place to stop for lunch. It is run by an 83 year old lady who is still going strong. It was recommended to us by the hotel owner we were staying with who said this is a must place to go for traditional Asturian bean stew. She was right it was delicious. They do a €15 menu which includes the stew to start and a choice of cod, beef or lamb for main, plus dessert and wine. All served quickly and very tasty. Worth a try if you happen to be driving by!

The menu is not extensive but we liked the choices on offer each time we went. The hotel/restaurant is quite old and has a great atmosphere. The owners speak English and are very pleasant. We had lamb both times we went and it was delicious just fell off the bone, didn’t really need a knife it was so tender.

This was a good stop after a long day on my bicycle. The hostess spoke English, which really helped me after a few quiet days on the road. Marvelous collection of copper utensils and coats-of-arms on display. Old hotel but nice.

We had a great meal…. Limited menu but it was all spectacular…. We loved the place and the people…. And the perfect town for authentic food and service

Great place; staff was attentive and the food was excellent. Strongly recommend for families. Price was very decent too!!!
