Casarena Plage - Reservar uma mesa

I have been here many times and never been dissapointed. The menu has both burgers and more sofisticated dishes of fish. Everything is from local suppliers and the wines are always from Corsica. At lunchtime it is recommended to make a reservation but the owners always find you a table if you can wait 10-15 minutes. Try the tartar du Thon (chopped tuna with some tomato, avocado and cucumber) and the fish soup is really good. One small thing to improve is to have a special waiter who only check if the guest wants to order more drinks. It could be a good idea and increase sales and profit. We stopped off in Algajola for lunch and headed into this restaurant on spec, when on route between St Florent and Calvi . We didn't check reviews in advance and felt we had struck lucky! We were lucky enough to find a table for 2 available on the sand, and enjoyed BBQd meats. My husband enjoyed some tender pork with fries and my very filling chicken kebabs plate came with a bowl filled to the brim with some sort of ratatouille wow so tasty! Staff were on the ball, our waitress spoke good English and had a sense of humour, and it was a really enjoyable lunch break, thank you!

Excellent beach restaurant with a nice variety menu. Good and friendly service. Great milanese, chicken wraps and chicken burgers. Pokebowls are however not top notch. Tried both chicken and salmon and neither was great.

On vacation with my family, we found this lovely beach and restaurant. The service was wonderful, food fresh, and swimming perfect. Not to miss! Patricia Murphy Feltin

Worst serving ever! The waiters were extremly rude and we waited a lot of time for them to serve us and to bring us the check. Totally waste of time and money.
