Casino Zollverein - Reservar uma mesa

It is set in an old coal mine but this made it a unique environment. The food was beautifully presented and the waiter was genuinely keen to make our stay enjoyable. They do a surprise menu where you let the waiter know things you do...or don 't like e.g. Fish and the chef makes a surprise for you. My husband really enjoyed his courses. I went for the listed menu and wished I 'd been braver as it made it more exciting not knowing what you were going to get. The bread was delicious and the menu was grown up and refined.

It was a very different experience to first of all visit Zollverein and on top of it have a great lunch in one of former industrial buildings. I had Ricotta Ravioli which was really nicely prepared. The bread they served deserves a special note. The...first impression I had was an expensive restaurant but the price level was not too bad. It was a fairly quiet day and perhaps that was the reason for a bit sluggish service.

You have to visit this restaurant. The service was very good. The location very good. The food was amazing. If you have time you can meet the chef and congratulate him.

Business diner for 14 persons; great ambiance, hospitality and good food. The menu is a little-bid limited especially for vegetarians.
