Castillo - Reservar uma mesa

Manilva village up in the hills overlooks its coastal namesake. It is quiet, Spanish, and atmospheric. On its Main Street this fabulous Bar Castillo has a modest look about it both inside and out, but do not let that fool you. This is the sort of place you talk about when you return from holidays. It is a true Spanish experience. We spent a week in the area outside the tourist season, yet it was constantly busy with local trade, always a good sign. It seemed to be family run. Everybody seemed to know each other. On our second night there, we were on nodding terms with a few people. By night three the staff knew our order! At exceptionally cheap prices they fed us with the best tapas offering...

Driving round Manilva looking for a tapas bar stumbled across this lovely authentic Spanish bar. Owners and locals very friendly, in a beautiful setting. If you want true Spanish culture give this a try you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for your hospitality. Anne Graham

This is a cracking little bar with a good mix of locals and foreigners, although mostly Spanish. The food is always delicious, especially the paella on a Sunday at 2pm, but be quick it goes in a flash! There plenty of tapas to choose from though, and other dishes too.

This bar is a real gem. Situated n the centre of Manilva, it serves a wide choice of tapas at very reasonable prices. There are plenty of tables both inside and out. It was so good I will be returning on my next visit to Spain.

This is a gem of a place. Great tapas and lovely people running it. Proper Spanish tapas, raciones, montaditos etc. Very relaxed and friendly. Try the pinchos de gambas.
