Catfish Corner - Reservar uma mesa

Great for seafood and Mexicans. I'm sorry if this review appears from the subject, but just keep reading, I'll be there. I'm a local Ardmoreite just a few hours away. I remember when this restaurant used to be a Mexican restaurant called El Palatio. I was just a kid, but they had the best chili rellenos. Now years later, the Wels Corner serves some of the best roasted catfish and shrimp in the city with some of the most beautiful waiting staff. And happiness for me, they still serve the same Chili Rellenos (I think they even have the name of the previous restaurant on the menu for the Rellenos). They have a great dough and are filled with cheese. But the chili sauce they put on is the best....

Great finding! We come through Ardmore a few times a year have a new spot. Fish is amazing, sides were solid, shrimp was also good. The staff were very friendly, attentive they seem to treat regularly as friends. Has a hole in the wall feel, but is clean has a funny mood. Also served Mexican cuisine; Menu has many options including all-you-can-eat catfish! Chips salsa seemed homemade were very delicious. Also appreciated that the background music was not loud like some places. If you are looking for a good meal in Ardmore, just go here!

Diner Do! If Diners aren't your thing, don't worry. This place is what the Triple D is about. It is rich, picturesque and wonderfully local. And they don't play with their Chile Rellenos. Mexican food (Tex-Mex) is a basic food for most southern Oklahomans, and I still have a Chile Relleno in a Mexican restaurant, the Catfish Corner 's. It's a must.
