Cau Del Pescador - Reservar uma mesa

A small original local fisch restaurant in a back streat not far from the sea promenade. Mainly visited by Spanisch people. Simple but sympathetic interior and excellent cooking by the owner of day fresch fisch. We were served by the lady of the house. Baby calamari, muscles and clams as starters an grilled fish platter as main dish. We will go back to eat the original Sarzuela disch, which wa served at the table next to us. Excellent value for money, under 100 Euros for the two of us.

Our experience was really good. All staff was really nice, especially Nuria and Josep. The restaurant is traditional from La Costa Brava, nice, comfortable, and clean. Decoration reminds us where we are from! The food is simple but the taste was spectacular. Anchovies, steamed mussels, frying pans, clams, prawns, codfish were spectacular. I’ll be back!!

Nice and fresh food but terrible service. Can not pay by card. Very unflexible. Waited for the bill for ages even though we said we were in a hurry to catch a plane. When we finally said that either we get the bill immediately or we leave they said they call the POLICE. Never happened before in my life

El cau del pescador is a good restaurant. They cook extraordinary fresh fish and typical fisher dishes of the area. Good Mediterranean food. But for me the best is the rice arròs del pescador . A bit expensive but excelent waiters.

Great spot for fish! We came here while in town. We started with a tuna then moved to mains. The monkfish was great as was the Arroz Negro.
