Chalet De La Dent De Vaulion

We just stopped for a coffee/soft drink in this very nice place and the structure was pretty. One of us asked for a glass of water with his coffee and was told that there was no drinking water at the tap so we received a 20cl glass of lukewarm water which we cost CHF 3.20...what a rip off. Apparently there was a problem with the fridge... Great astonishment when I went to the toilet and that nowhere it was indicated that the water was not drinkable above the sinks. I confront a first waitress (perhaps the boss) who tells me that they are regulars who come and that they know it and that otherwise they indicate it to visitors. The chalet is beautiful, but it lacks decoration, which is expected when speaking of an alpine chalet. Regarding the meal, I took chalet pasta, honestly disappointed, it reminded me more of carbonara pasta.. for me, chalet pasta is with macaroni and above all it does not look like carbonara. We took a 1/2 plate of cheese, and frankly it's not worth the price. For the cheese crust, the bread was dry, it lacked white wine, and the ham inside was really not good. There is a lack of staff unfortunately for them, we waited 30min before they came to ask us what we would like to drink we took the opportunity to order dinner at the same time. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Atmosphere is good it was a bit dead and not very lively The food and well, we had ordered a double cream meringue dessert, which was served to us has nothing to do with the photos I see. Two meringues with full cream poured over, no double cream! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Excessively long service indeed 1h30 of waiting with a service that leaves something to be desired and the dishes were not incredible given their price (small portion, little taste), I do not recommend !! We asked for basic water to accompany the coffee... Ouch 2dl at that price, we 're not ready to forget it. Yes, we should have thought to ask the question price before. Otherwise RAS
