Chalet Hôtel Alpen Valley

It’s definitely not a 4 star. It’s a nice small hotel but has a lot of issues. Even though you can see the staff is trying hard to do their best, they are set for failure by a very weak management. At €600 a night you expect better quality. We did see staff having meltdowns in the main room due to a weak management that has set them for failure , recycling wine bottles from customer tables to the “per glass” serving area this I think was just a lack of training . We saw other customers asking for the general manager to complain at the dinner table. We saw a Russian lady with her son crying due to being mistreated. A moment suspended in front of the white mountain. Very beautiful hotel and very beautiful rooftop to accommodate the whole family in one and even suite perfectly equipped with luxurious services. I spent an excellent day of the year with my husband. Listening staff discreet room service. A superb 4-star hotel with small attention to the owner of very high quality bath products I will come back with pleasure with family. Perfect location to enjoy the resort of Combloux. Very comfortable rooms with a breathtaking Mont Blanc view. Only the restaurant is in my sense below the rest of the hotel's services.
