I ordered salt and pepper chicken balls, chips, and curry sauce from this restaurant tonight. The food was ready in less than 2 minutes, indicating that it was likely pre-cooked. Unfortunately, it seemed like the oil used was not hot enough and had not been changed in a while. As a result, the chips and chicken balls were excessively greasy. Even the curry sauce could not mask the unpleasant taste. I highly recommend that the chefs or cooks taste their food before serving it to customers. The restaurant used to have long lines of people waiting to order, but now it is practically empty. I don't think this place will remain open for much longer. I enjoy Chans for the food, but I cannot stand calling the woman who answers the phone. She consistently lacks interest and gives off a rude attitude, making you feel unwelcome. Chans, I love your food, but I suggest finding a new phone operator.
