Charlottetown Beer Garden & Seafood Patio

Walked to the beer garden, slightly off the tourist trap of charlottetown but told it was the place to go to listen to good live music so off we went! On arrival we were charged $8 to go in which I thought was slightly strange as the place was very quiet (10.45) for a Saturday evening. We sat and ordered drinks the band started to play. They were good! No complaints there. One of our party went outside to smoke. On coming back she said people were being charged $5 for entry OR $20 for 4! This was 5 maximum 10 mins after we had gone in! I'm from England and have NEVER! Experienced this kind of thing ever! Upon hearing this we left. Regardless of the quality of music. I will not be coming back...

Visited the Beer Garden, very shortly after they opened, obviously when a new establishment is in it's beginning stages it is expected to be rocky and not perfection, with the hiring of new and inexperienced servers, new menu items to learn, and so on and so forth. Taking all of this into consideration, I would say my visit to the Beer Garden was indeed a success, the beer was cold, the food was delicious and plentiful, I had the pulled pork with a side of fried and both were exactly what I expected, the large selection of beer is a nice treat when considering what to order, and offers to my adventurous and experimental side. I came here for a drink, and the well lit veranda and pretty flower displays caught my eye. However, be warned that they have a cover charge of $10 to get in, because of the live music. They do have a great selection of local beers on their board. Tonight, I decided to try the Melonhead made by Picaroon, which is a local beer from NB. The Melonhead is really good. It is sweet, light, a bit fruity, and not too bitter. It is very easy to drink and I highly recommend this beer. The beers are slightly expensive, being $9 a glass, and they have a pay-as-you-go system, so please keep that in mind. My wife and I, along with her mom, aunt and uncle all showed up to enjoy a family evening as the aunt and uncle from away were heading back to their homes after a visit to "the Island".What a comfortable spot, and the large level outdoor plaza was just the ticket for one of our party with a walker, and I noticed another elderly gentleman in a wheelchair. No bumping or banging into tables and patrons, rather a wonderful "Al fresco" experience for all.A great selection of regular, local craft and out of province craft/commercial beer. The Beer Garden has a good atmosphere and spacious seating in downtown Charlottetown. Great assortment of craft beers and sangrias. Evening live music adds to the uptempo but relaxing atmosphere. Food leaves much to be desired; although the night we were there the kitchen was short staffed. Definitely go there for drinks but there are too many great restaurants in Charlottetown to enjoy in comparison to the food quality here( ex. Processed jar of cheese is used on natchos rather than real cheese.)

We went for some supper and a couple drinks i got the pork tacos and i would rush back to get them they were so delicious! the salad was so fresh. the taters were also a major hit at our table and the burger was perfection! Our server sarah was fantastic and entertaining. Live music is always a bonus as well!

For people wanting to have a pint or two outside on a nice day, this place has a really nice patio! A decent beer selection...food is reasonably priced. Staff seemed friendly. The lobster roll was not great, but the fries are amazing...with generous portions.

Went with around 20 people on the night before a wedding. We all enjoyed our food, and there was an awesome beer selection. Try the curry sauce that comes with the fish and chips. It was delicious! Reserve uma mesa agora

We stopped in with our family for a dinner and a drink. We had a great time! The food was good and the entertainment was great. We liked the atmosphere and the service was good!

had a nice chilled evening drinking various brews and listening to some good music. We didn't eat but there was a good choice of food. Friendly staff.
