Chat American Grill

I had a wonderful meal last night; the Grilled salmon on Bok choy, corn other crispy veggies. It was so outstanding. It is one of our ‘go-to ‘ places; you don’t need to think twice about it; neighborhood favorite and amazing staff. I think I have posted photos before. Nice outside dining area, below freezing last night so we were inside. We all shared a nice bottle of Prosecco. We shared the banana split which we gobbled up. It has a bit of a sugar glaze on the banana I think which made the sweet and smooth taste a little crunchy at the same time.

We have eaten at Chat many times over the last few years, however since the pandemic began in mid March we had not returned until this afternoon. Although the weather was a brisk 45 degrees we chose to sit outdoors on their patio. There were at least 15 outdoor propane heaters and we were sandwiched between two enormous ones that gave off a considerable amount of warmth. The waiters were wonderful and both my wife and I had delicious meals. We felt relaxed and grateful that all the staff was masked.

An unforgettable experience! The menu is very diverse and suitable for both the somewhat adventurous and for the conservative and/or budding palate. Each dish is cooked with great consistency. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere/decor/people observe possibilities guarantee a welcoming, pleasant and appealing dining room experience from beginning to end, whether you are with troublemakers of an adult or minor type.

Beautiful atmosphere and seems a favorite in the area. They have heated outside seating, but we decided to feed inside. Very busy on a Tuesday night. Grill meat was very good. A member of our party did not feel good and we need to finish our dinner earlier than expected. Servers and managers were very accommodating and tended to our needs. Very recommended and we'll be back.

The salmon burger was delicious. Yummy! It was a beautiful night, sitting outside on the terrace where trees grew throughout the patio and lantern lights lit the pathways between them. I enjoyed it very much.
