The cheese shop has always ranked among my top five favorite dining spots. Their wine selection is exceptional, and the knowledgeable staff is great at recommending something new that pairs perfectly with my delicious toastie or my all-time favorite, the olive tapenade with quark cheese! When I heard they were opening a cheese bar, I knew I had to check it out. I visited yesterday afternoon, and it did not disappoint. It exceeded all my expectations. I absolutely adore this place! Every time we've visited, the service has been exceptional. The entire staff has been fantastic! But it's the cheese... oh, that mouthwatering cheese... I dream about it and just can't get enough! I seriously need to move closer to DSM for more of this cheesy goodness! I also appreciate how knowledgeable the staff is; they've helped me explore different wine pairings. The only downside is that while the floor-to-ceiling windows are stunning, it got way too hot sitting in the sun—we were practically roasting! Even a dark tint at seating level would help. Best. Night. Ever. The service my friend and I️ receive at The Cheese Bar was absolutely outstanding. We ordered a cheese board and were so surprised when our waiter, Brian, brought out two additional types of cheeses. He checked in constantly to make sure we were doing okay and was so friendly. Can not say enough great things about Brian’s service, professionalism and superior personality. Will recommend The Cheese Bar to everyone I know and will definitely be back! As a long time lover of the Cheese Shop I've been supremely excited for the opening of the Cheese Bar. After my first visit to the Cheese Bar, I was blown away. Everything great about the original Cheese Shop is present with the addition of several fantastic menu items. I tried the corned beef and bleu cheese open faced smörg sandwich, top notch is an understatement. Additionally, the staff is consistently outstanding! 10 out of 5, you must go here. This place is amazing. Not only is the food great, but the staff is as well. The hostess was super nice and attentive, making our wait seem like nothing. Then there was a guy cutting up meat behind the cheese counter who was very engaging and even gave my date and I a small sample. To top it off, the bartender was great too! Tonight was my first time there and I will definitely be back!

I love, love, LOVE the Cheese Bar! Any dish, plate or board I have tried, I simply love it. The Cheese Bar is a down to earth, local food restaurant with a European feel. My favorite place to sit is right up at the front bar- I enjoy talking with the chefs and staff. I always have a wonderful time!

Fresh and welcoming atmosphere, great draught beer selection, and a cheese lover's dream menu. My grilled cheese sandwich was superb, the fried cheese curds a lush indulgence, and the mac cheese was everything that can be good about that dish! I will return for certain!

Perfect. Perfectly delicious! The place was packed but we got seats right away. We enjoyed the Smorgasbord Meat Cheese Board, a salad and soup, plus a bottle of wine. Everything was on point! Can’t wait to go back again.

Amazing food, great draft beer, and an extensive and impressive bottle selection. The next logical step from The Cheese Shop. Cannot recommend it enough.
