visited on a Monday evening with friends and service was very efficient and friendly. eating was fantastic I had steak and was cooked to perfection and great and the whole meal was beautiful. the pub has a large ambiente and has a fantastic garden for warmer days and is dog friendly. would be recommending

Absolutely speechless with how much of a good job the landlord lady (Sue Dave) have done with this pub post-covid. One of the best experiences you can have over a nice pint in the Leicestershire area. Well done to everyone involved, this is the revival of the British pub!

good food, service, worth and atmosphere. numerous menu choices from light snacks to full meal times are available. have visited chequers pub several times and ate in a table outside under deck and on a sunny day in the garden area. dogs are also welcome.

beautiful location, typical village pub. excellent seating area in free. good choice of beer. not tried to eat, but listen, it is very good

we went into the garden, its facility nice with some cabins we used, the menu was good, the eating very generous, I will go back
