Chettle Village Store

This cozy little spot truly deserves wider recognition. I visited with the intention of picking up a meal deal from A.N. Supermarket, but I noticed signs for this place and decided to give them a call. What a lovely discovery! The warm atmosphere and delightful selection of products left a great impression on me. I picked up some cakes, pastries, and refreshing drinks, which made for a much more enjoyable lunch. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This charming little establishment features cozy cottages, a spacious house, and a hotel. The village shop is topped with a fantastic corrugated steel roof, while a delightful coffee break spot and a uniquely designed restroom that resembles a birdhouse add to its charm. There's even a bus stop that looks like a jagged birdhouse, making the whole place feel whimsical and inviting.

During our trip to Devon, we were in desperate need of a coffee and a sandwich when we stumbled upon this lovely little shop. They offer fresh vegetables and a variety of local products, as well as delicious cakes and baked goods! If I had one complaint, it would be that they had just sold the last steak and mashed potatoes by the time we arrived!

a beautiful local shop that serves the most beautiful hot cakes and pastries, hot drinks and also has fresh farm milk on the tap. it was great to sit outside to eat a picnic dinner and just see the (local) world over! I will definitely return. Reserve uma mesa agora

Great choice of foods and general groceries, nice to get a pie and a cuppa to break the journey up. Seasonal foods available as well as refills for washing liquids etc.

Pretty,rural spot to pull off your journey for a coffee and a plethora of local produce.basic but functional outside loo,no baby changing or disabled facilities.

Really friendly people. General store with local produce for sale. Hot pies for sale we tried the Steak and Ale and Homitty Pies which were extremely tasty.

After a 20 mile mtb ride this village shop was a gem to fund. The fresh pasties refuelled us beautifully. Definitely worth a visit. Reserve uma mesa agora
