Chez Bouboule - Reservar uma mesa

Cool concept and not a bad spot if you are willing to wait to play pétanque indoors. The prices are a bit higher than the typical bars on Oberkampf, so it's really only worth it if you want to wait in line for a couple hours for a game. (I can't say it's the same situation on week nights, though) The upside is there are lots of places to sit!

Nice bar (layout, location), expensive unless you like Ricard. Terrible bar staff. Blonde girl was working ok, grey haired guy was useless. He didn't know his arse from his elbow. Brown haired guy with beard was drunk a waste of space. Took 20 minutes to get a drink when there wasn't a queue, and when there was a queue...christ !

Turned up at 5 when Google said they would open. They were closed but their website said they open at 5:30. Hung around for half an hour, came back at 5:3, were told they open at 6. Gave up.

honestly, 5 stars just for the good memory. Nice for hosting a birthday, just an excuse to get a gang of people together, laugh and get drunk.

Nice beer, free boules! Would recommend them getting a rake for the playing surface
