We dined here several times while we were staying in the attached Bed Breakfast (also well recommended). The menu offers a good selection of seafood and turf dishes, so we had a chance to try several dishes. The braised seal appetizer was excellent; it...is worth trying, as seal has long been an important part of Madelinot economy and culture, and this dish is a good introduction. The owner, Francine, greets customers warmly at this restaurant. The cozy rooms are well-equipped with excellent bed linens that are very comfortable and firm. The restaurant offers excellent value, especially the pot en pot, a delicious local seafood specialty. The staff is friendly, helpful, and resource-saving. I will definitely return on my next trip to the island. One note: there were construction works happening during my visit, causing noise and disturbances. It would have been nice to be informed about this in advance.

The restaurant, located in a Canary yellow building from the 19th century, offers breathtaking views. The two interior rooms are painted white, lacking character and history. Despite pictures showing colorful bed linens, they were not present during our dinner. The service was satisfactory, but the quality of the food and atmosphere were average. As a group of six, we were able to try everything on the menu. Unfortunately, Denis á François does not offer the same exquisite dining options found on these beautiful islands.
