Chez Margotte - Reservar uma mesa

Delightful small establishment now offering rooms of a high quality. I've had several meals here before and all have been very good and of good value. I love the egg mayonnaise starter. The wine is of the region and equally good. The rooms are all new and furnished to a high standard. The only things missing were shampoo and conditioner and also a hairdryer. Will certainly stay again.

Barry Christine helped us with the menu, and Phillip Marie gave us a wonderful lunch. We both had salad, Mary tried the pork, sausage for me both with frites, with a pinchet of wine strawberry coupes for desert. They also have rooms so it is a lovely country inn in the middle of Chateaux country. When we return we will stay there. In better weather there will be patio dining.

9 of us went here for my birthday lunch which I booked in advance. I was asked if I wanted anything special but I said the plat de jour would be fine. For 11.90 we had a choice of 6 starters, 6 desserts, but only 2 main courses, but, it was very nice. Very nice decor inside and out and very friendly staff. We will go back and sample their gourmand menu.

We went with my in-laws. Had a lovely four course lunch, Parma ham with melon, tomatoes and mozzarella, followed by cold slices of roast beef and by turkey with forestiere sauce. Then cheese and then puddings of crumble, chocolate mousse and Creme Brule. 78 Euro all in. Great value!

This is a real find it’s a lovely friendly little bistro type restaurant, with a set menu of €12-90this has a good choice of all three courses,the staff are very welcoming and friendly all in all a lovely lunchtime place to go .
