Chez Mathieu - Reservar uma mesa

we put ourselves in the escaping on the terrace. server supported other customers. we have waited 30 minutes to be confirmed without success, so we have gone to try to find another restaurant. After we ran a few blocks, we decided to try again with chez methieu. This time we were served after only 5 minutes. eating was good, but two of us asked for a to-go box. when we came back home, we realized that a pretty big piece of sharp plastic had been put into the side of the hamburger. the restaurant was attractive and seemed to be popular, but I don't think they like Americans very much.

Although few tables were occupied neither wet chairs were wiped after rain, nor the table with the only dry chairs were removed at a time. a very young service that found everything very funny after 40 minutes espresso and water. the almost empty dirty sugar spreader we got after another five minutes. the ordered cake was completely forgotten. this is not covered by the claim that the drink card is imparted. for us the first and last visit. pity to the beautiful ambiente.

here is a very, very beautiful place, with a lot of charm to spend with friends a nice moment, a good glass wein or a dish from the region to enjoy.Also the terrace is worth a detour, one of the most beautiful in Traben-Trarbach. go there with closed eyes, cordial gratitude to the renovation of the place and the very friendly team. we wish him much success!

if there was no title barkeeper yet, you would have to invent him for the chef of the house - super nice, friendly and binding and with the right hand in the selection of music, from breakfast to late evening. I felt very comfortable and will come back.
