Chez Roberte - Reservar uma mesa

We have been eating at this restaurant for almost 30 years and knew it way back when it was just a little shack with an open front and the original owner Madame Roberte ran a tight ship. Today it is a very comfortable modern restaurant. The new owner is a very pleasant and welcoming man and his team are cheerful. Very good range of fish, shellfish and meats beautifully cooked in a traditional style. Good wholesome, not fancy cooking. Able to eat outside in summer but also has AC inside. Open all year round but more limited hours in the autumn and winter.

Great place to sit on a sunny afternoon, overlooking the fishing huts and small waterway. The food was excellent. Not only our main fish dishes but also the children's food (mussels) were really very good. The wine was nice too. Service could have been a touch friendlier but I guess they were very busy. I had to prove I was eating there to use the toilet!

We arrived at this restaurant having walked out of one further down the road. What a contrast! The restaurant was pretty busy and staff were friendly, professional and efficient. I chose a platter of langoustine with a side order of chips and my husband opted for monkfish with a mushroom sauce. Both dishes arrived promptly and were delicious.

This was the first time my husband and I and friends have visited Chez Robert and we were all thoroughly pleased with our meals served by very friendly helpful staff. Lovely varied menu to chose from and very reasonably priced local wine by the pichet. We will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed a relaxed family meal on the waterfront, the waiter welcomed us and was happy to translate the menu into English. Lovely food and picturesque surroundings. Nice local wine:
