Chicken 649 - Reservar uma mesa

Had the chicken sandwich meal, which was fine. The chicken itself seemed to be a thigh, and a pretty anemic one at that. This sandwich is absolutely not worth twelve dollars even in this hyperinflation new world.I waited 26 minutes for my order even though when I ordered, the restaurant was totally empty. It seems like this business heavily prioritizes Skip the Dishes over it's in store diners.A couple came in nearly 8 minutes after me, ordered a chicken meal, and ate it before my meal even arrived. A cashier told me my order was still coming, but it takes longer because it's a sandwich I'm still trying to figure out the logic of how a single chicken thighs could take 26 minutes to deep fry...

Man Chicken 649 never fails. My partner and I moved to the neighborhood in September 2022 and it took us an embarrassingly long time to try this place just around the corner. Now we order at least once or twice a month. I’ve tried four different flavors and love them all but my favorite is soy garlic. It’s just perfect. Every time we order, no matter what sizes we get, we have leftovers so it makes the price really sensible. The last order I placed was for a 4 piece cheesy chicken. I ate 2 pieces and was full and used one piece to make a sandwich (yum) and had the last piece as a nice midnight snack. Very highly recommend.

The chicken is good but they don't cook their fries enough, always end up with half cooked wedges fries. The team is unable to make a compromise on cooking anything longer than they offer so expect undercooked wedge fries almost regularly. I wouldrecommend this to anyone only looking specifically for deep fried chicken or pickled radish but their side dishes otherwise lack any sense of care.

Although we enjoy the crispy, tasty recipe the one complaint we have is the number of drumsticks included. Definitely the only piece not wanted or enjoyed yet our last 3 orders contained 12 out of 16 pieces! For this reason we won't be ordering again. Where do they get these 12 legged chickens? Seriously when you place an order for a full you expect a whole chicken not 12 drumsticks.

I would rate 9/10. If the boxes on the full chicken orders didn't leak. It would be 10/10. Great food though, best chicken hands down. I respect your beautiful service and mouth watering chicken. Can't wait for my taste buds to party in the presence of this fine delicious food. So I say before I go, thank-you for your desirable, juicy flavor enticing chicken.
