Chickie's Pete's - Reservar uma mesa

This is probably the first time I will say that the service here was prompt. Waitress was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the food was horrible. The portions were generous, but again, who wants quick service when you're brought a bucket of tasteless slop? We shared a cookie sheet full of nachos (B Dawk nachos) and they were okay, and I wish we'd stopped there. I had a crab cake. It tasted like unseasoned Stove Too Stuffing and I couldn't taste any crab. My husband had a seafood pasta dish it was enormous, but again, low on taste and seafood content. Needless to say, we're not going back. A menu change for the better is definitely in order.

7/3/24 We were staying at the Tropicana so we decided to have dinner here. Our waitress was polite but seemed distracted even through there wasn't that many people. Flyin' Hawaiian was good, tasted light on alcohol and I'm not a drinker. But we were told it's because the liquor was also sweet. *shrug Sticky Lobster was good. Sticky lol Blue Crabs were small but very good seasoning. So messy to eat hehehe The Housemade Ricotta Donuts are so good! I wanted to go back to just get the donuts before we head home but forgot : I heard we should have gotten the crab fries so we shall try it next time we're in the area.

I'm really shocked I've never written a review here! My husband and I are frequent guests when we're at the Trop or just AC in general. The kitchen is open late so it's perfect for that later night refuel. This time we came on a Friday for dinner. Our server was a little slow but clearly slammed and made up for it with his demeanor. Got drinks, an order of crab fries, my husband got the snack size nuggets and I got the Milanese sandwich I think this sandwich is delicious. Dressed lightly, tons of arugula, a good crispy chicken, and a seeded roll. The Phillies game was on and we enjoyed our meal.

Overall pretty solid. The food was pretty good and the environment was what you expect at a sports bar. Got the lobster fries and it was alright (3.5/5). I think they skimped on the sauce cause there was only a little drizzle in the middle and the side was completely dry. Good flavors though Club sandwich (3/5): pretty generic, nothing really stood out. would've liked it if they added more sauce to it. i opened the bun and the sauce was seriously lacking. Seafood saute (3.5): was flavorful and tasty, but did not blow my mind.

On the boardwalk with great views. Eating under terrific air conditioning never felt so good. The food is always delicious and the portions are outrageous. We had the buffalo chicken nachos and the seafood in white wine. Service is superb and the drinks are strong. This is what a call winning in Atlantic City.
