Chilli Massalla Indian Restarant &takeaway

Didn’t know the area so asked the taxi driver to recommend a restaurant and This was his choice. It turned out to be a great choice. Doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s a bit like the Tardis it was discernibly bigger inside. On entry you are informed they do not sell alcohol. Across the road is Gary’s store which does sell alcohol and is open late and at prices well lower than a Restaurant would charge. Inside the ambience is ok. Their selling point however is the staff. They are really friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The best was Abdul.. They have a 5 course deal for £20.95 poppadoms, starters (lovely prawn purée), mains (great madras), sides (naan chapter pilau)...

I can’t believe I have never been here before! My family come often and this evening I went with my son and parents. The staff from the moment we walked through the door were absolutely lovely! So welcoming, funny and couldn’t do enough for us! The food was delicious, tasty and really fresh. 10/10. My son loved it too. Throughout the meal the staff topped up our chutney tray without us asking too. I would definitely recommend to anyone! At the end myself and step mum received a gorgeous fresh rose and my son got a box of Lindt chocolates and an Easter balloon which I thought was a really nice touch. We will be back again for sure. Thank you to all the amazing staff you are super!

This isn't a high end Indian restaurant, I'm not sure it would win any awards, but the taste of their food and their VERY professional and friendly service means I have to give it 5 Stars. The quality taste of food is excellent. Protein portions are a little on the small side, but honestly, there is more than enough and it's the right amount of food for the price paid. Service, honestly, is EXCEPTIONAL. From the moment you walk through the door, until you put your coat on, it's like being served by your family and best friends. What a great team !

As a long standing customer, although I have had several takeaways during the recent closure period, there is nothing to compare a proper sit down meal. The renovations and alterations are fantastic and just add to the previous welcoming atmosphere. The food and service as always was amazing and it was great to see the staff again. Night out with 5 of my friend in my beloved chilli massala,!!! Thank god i can go out again and enjoy the food in a restaurant setting. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing dishes of prawn puri, chicken zhashlik and chicken sag walla were enjoyed. We were treated like queens service second to non. See you again soon Choo and colleagues your the best,!!!

Back open and just as good as always . We have loved this restaurant for a few years now and the team never lets us down . Excellent value food , BYOB , including soft drinks , the service is second to none . Feel like a VIP every time you go , and ladies be prepared for a little extra treat too .

Lovely curries and the staff are very friendly. It was very hot in side and very busy. In some places it was very cramped and tight to get past people Reserve uma mesa agora

Lovely food, service abit slow. Really Enjoyed the curry. Would visit again. Lovely atmosphere and fresh food. Highly recommend.

Fresh,hot and well packed food,massala great just wish was more choices for vegan daughter but the food great quality and value
