Who said, You get what you pay for? Musta been Captain Obvious. China King is a very inexpensive place for lunch. $7.95 for entree, egg roll, and a fortune cookie, and it 's worth about $7.00. They are very fast, the food is edible, and I have never gotten sick there. However, I 'm sick of ordering ahead only to arrive to see a blank stare when they claim that they never received the order. It 's strange because I have an email confirmation, but you don 't have the order...again. I 'd say the order ahead feature on-line is successful about 20% of the time. I'm quite disappointed with my recent experience ordering through Door Dash. I was charged $47, but when the food arrived, several items were missing and the receipt attached to the bag indicated a charge of $29. I’m left wondering why I was billed $47 instead. Additionally, when I requested an egg to be added to the fried rice, it wasn't mixed in like it usually is at other places, despite the fact that it's been done correctly in the past. I won't be ordering from this location again.

Nothing has much flavor and I don’t know what kind of cut of pork this is but it’s not spare ribs and it’s not like any spare ribs I’ve ever gotten in Saint Louis. The meat is flat, tough and dry.

The lo mein smells AWFUL, like dirty chitterlings. The shrimp was literally a shrimp tail and breading, and the 2 wings in the combination platter was literally one wing broken in 2.
