Chocolateria La Cepedana

is located in a small corner of the town hall, but it is a unique place because it is next to the Roman Moeo (which should be visited) and next to a good restaurant. While we are going to stumble, we stop here to have chocolate, which makes it wonderfully, because in astorga (and few outside know it) they have a centuries-old chocolate tradition. a part of the chocolate can be taken pasta and other traditional sweets. But the chocolate is fixed! besides own sweets and handmade chocolates, they also sell souvenirs and bagatelas to bring as a gift. the owners are very kind and I think they must have infinite patience. is a reference point on any astorga route.

for me, the café con leche was the best thing I had on the camino so far. the lady at the desk was so friendly and patient. the chocolate is very good
