Chocolateria San Churro

Dined here last Friday night for dessert before watching a movie. Used an entertainment book voucher for buy churros for 1 and get one free – great value! We chose one set with icing sugar and the second set with cinnamon sugar – both very good. For dipping sauces we chose one with dark choc and other with milk choc – we both liked the dark choc sauce the best. They do really good hot chocs here as we normally get one of those before the movies but this time tried the churros and they were great! When they are busy you can be in for a long wait but they've generally always communicated that well to you when your ordering so you know in advance.

I went to this store with my two daughters and ordered an iced chocolate drink for both of them. Each drink cost a whipping $7.95 each! We placed our order and took a seat. The store was boiling hit to begin with. We waited 20 minutes for our 2 drinks to arrive. When they did, I was mortified! They would have to have been the worsticed chocolates I have ever seen. All the chocolate syrup was in the bottom of the glass.there was a blob of icecream floating on top and that was about it. No nice presentation was attempted at all.

We visited here today , and not at all happy with anything, I am usually very easy going and don't complain, but service was terrible , coffees and churros sat on the counter for so long before they came to the table, that they were cold. My daughter came in after we had ordered ,and made a separate order we had to go to the counter to find out where that order got to, it had been sitting on the counter for ten minutes. Staff didn't seem to care, and it wasn't very busy. Want be in a hurry to go back.

First, we waited over half an hour for only strawberries and chocolate dip, during this half hour our table remained filthy with left over dirty plates and food all over it. No one came to clean it up. When our food was ready - it was left sitting up at the counter for a good 10 minutes so the chocolate came to us cold. I asked the lady to change it over for warm chocolate which she did but very rudely... table still remained dirty while we ate our food...

Great venue for late night dessert… You should try the dark hot chocolate – rich, velvety and not overly sweet. The churros are OK but the milk choc sauce is most excellent!!
