Chopstick Delight Chinese Restaurant

This is a great place for when you feel like a good old take away Chinese meal. The food is exactly like the stuff we used to get back in the 80s when we went out for Mum or Dad's birthday.I would never eat inside as the decor is quite unpleasant. The dark, red light gives the place a sinister feeling. That said, the staff have always been pleasant whenever I have picked up my take-out.The food's a bit pricier that it should be so we don't eat from there too often. We consider it a lazy treat for when we're bored of fish and chips.

We ordered takeaway from here after driving past a few times and seeing heaps of cars parked outside. What looks like a really quiet restaurant actually hides one that is busy more often than not. The menu features a huge range and while we didnt stray too far from our normal tastes, the food was good, while not spectacular and while not cheap, certainly wont break the bank.

Its good for a quick lunch with work mates if you work in the area. Gets busy during lunchtime but orders come through pretty quickly.On my first visit I found the food to be a bit too greasy for my liking, but the rest of the group enjoyed enough to plan another lunch. But my second experience was much better. We ordered more vegetarian food and it was quite good.

Had dinner with friends. They have dishes that are unlike those typical dishes in Chinese restaurant. For example, the egg plant dish was good as it is fried in batter but not mushy.They take dinner booking in 2 sessions at 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm. Overall, we like the food.It is a small restaurant so the sitting is a bit tight.

Always come für lunch special once a week. Been doing so for years as its not expensive. Good and quick
