CHUBUT - Reservar uma mesa

Chubut is supposed to be an Argentinian Meat House, sorry but the meat in Argentina is a million times better than this. Do not get me wrong, Chubut is a reasonably good meat house but carrying a name requires that the restaurant lives up to the quality of what can be found in Argentina, especially if you are at the Park Hotel in Gstaad. At Chubut everything is good, but nothing is memorable. I have lived in South America for many decades and know how meat should taste in both Argentina and Brazil. Alas Chubut did not make me feel nostalgic about the meat I had in my mind.

I can share the comments from other guests. The restaurant is more kind of bistro, plastic chairs, and all in all the ambiance isn’t what you expect at a 5* hotel. I ordered my meat to be medium rare, it was served well done. Too bad for such a nice piece of meat ! My wife’s lamb chops though were delicious. Service was nice, although I had to ask 3 times for the check. Strange when I remember that at my reservation I was told the restaurant would be full by 20.30, the table to be occupied by some other guests.

The place amazing!! Hospitality and services awesome!! More than you can imagine!! Starters the main food , wine list the sweets all of them are excellent!! Chef was very kind with us coming to our table introduce his self!!! Thank you chef!! All the workers are more than excellent!! Thank you for the beautiful dinner!

Veh options are limited but overall a nice place and service of you are in gstaad then a visit here is a must also this place can be chilly but very accommodative

Great food the starters are amazing and the beef was simply perfect. Great Wine selection loved the Colomé Torrontes, which was a great match with the Ceviche!
