Ciao Mambo - Reservar uma mesa

Ciao mambo has served some of the best pasta in Missoula for years, and I've been coming to get fettuccine alla rustica here for the whole time. I love the ambiance, the servers writing names on the wax paper tablecloth as well as the pictures over the years. There is just something special about popping into Ciao on a chilly winter day to be warned up by delicious pasta and relaxed by the deep wine color of the walls. On the night I decided to review, I had egg drop soup, a Bayern Winter Lager, fettuccine alla rustica (my favorite pasta in Missoula, made with chicken and shrimp in a Pecorino Romano blended aged white sauce with peas and prosciutto), and for dessert Zappolis with chocolate,...

Food was delicious and service was great as well. I forgot our server's name but she was really nice. Everyone was actually pretty attentive to us and made us feel very welcomed. They have crayons to make art ? on your table and it's showcased on the ceiling after. My daughter really enjoyed that part. We went here because this is my niece's favorite spot. Her favorite is the spaghetti and meatballs ?! Glad I got to experience this place. Oh and the music was jammin too!!

Had tried this a couple times during the pandemic as to-go orders and it was good, but always just slightly off. It's really food and atmosphere you need to dine in for fresh. While I wish the hours were extended, it does make you feel like you're part of a fun and lively experience and builds up some exclusivity (in a positive way) to Ciao. Their dessert menu doesn't mess around, and I've heard from multiple people their Tiramisu is the best in the state.

the first time here. I thought it was a great restaurant. the taste was not bad, but I'm not sure if it was eatable. I have found so annoyed cuz problems with the pasta and the side. the green sweetness in the pasta was too old and I don't think I could digest it. one of the six garnels in the side contained a lot of sand, and another also contained a small amount of sand. no idea how it was prepared. Dinner was AMAZING! Service attentive and value was spot on. Large portions, quality ingredients and friendly staff.
