Our reviews had over 14 million views in the first 7 months of 2022. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Cipriani Downtown. Updated 8-5-2022. Perfect again. Loved the pasta with just tomato sauce and the vanilla cake with homemade ice cream. Met the big boss there and he told us about how picky he is about everything in the joint. Old school classic modern Italian place. The place is really top notch in terms of the atmosphere, people, drinks and food. This place is really classy and busy all the time, so reservation is highly recommended. We had absolutely fenomenal beef and tuna tartare as well as beef carpaccio and poached sea bass. Their chocolate cake is also one of the best I have ever tried. We were also recommended vanilla merengue cake as best seller, but I would suggest to go for lemon merengue pie as vanilla one, although very light and tasty is too plain to my taste. It’s certainly a scene and you pay for it. The wall art is captivating and chic, and it’s a classic upscale SoHo vibe. The food and drinks are good, not great. Prices are marked up 2-2.5x for the ambiance and atmosphere. Went on a Tuesday and saw 70 year old sugar daddy’s out with their 20 year old model “girlfriends”. A lot of eye candy — can 't forget you 're out in SoHo — but therein lies the restaurants value . So I can’t recommend the restaurant at its prices, but for the crowd frequenting here, it seems overspending is the goal, not a problem. And if you are being treated the food is quite yummy.

Place has a good reputation and good food, staff is attentive and very nice, however the spot downtown is a bit small and crowded, felt like the staff was rushing into taking the plates, replace the maps on the table and get the check really quickly, we noticed it happening in other tables next to us. Not the best experience for the price you pay. Thank you guys at Cipriani Downtown

Was here for lunch. Ordered stewed rabbit and artichoke salad, which turned out OK. Was expecting more. Maybe the pasta is better.
