Have eaten lunch here many times over the years, but it 's been awhile since our last visit. Same friendly service, same good food, and the same sit in a casino and eat environment. The place is slammed for lunches and it is often difficult to get a table, so we recommend getting there before 11:30. The homemade soups and fresh sandwiches still hit the spot. My wife enjoyed her Reuben. I had the Bondo... a whole wheat sandwich with roast beef, salami, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and mayonnaise. Very good. Added a cup of homemade Cheesy Taco Soup to complete my lunch, and was full and happy. My wife didn 't want soup. When she tasted mine she declared I should have gotten a bowl. She then proceede...

Great sandwiches and soups, especially the cheddar broccoli and the tomato. Not hugely known but they also have one of the best burgers in town. The chili is also very good. During the winter time they also serve Tom and Jerry which is an egg and sugar batter that is served in a mug with hot water and a brandy rum mix. It's a Montana staple that is a must try. The building has a lot of history with pictures documenting it all over the walls.

Best lunch in Great Falls by a long shot. Delicious homemade soup, outstanding sandwiches and if you order the liverwurst, they slice it by the 1/2 . Beer is cheap. The bartenders still wear ties (if they're dudes) and there is even a pay phone. Love City Bar. Love. Take time to read the menu when you visit.

I was there for a Reunion, Andrew was the bartender, I bought 2 hats from him and returned later for more hats..He is the nicest young man. I brought my nephew in just to meet him... He is too talented to stay a bartender.. I wish him the BEST~!! Mary Ann

Great old school bar. Locally owned and operated. Love the old wood work. The photos are great as well.
