I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I have celiac disease, so I try to avoid fried foods cooked in contaminated oil. This place specializes in gluten-free fried dishes and they do an excellent job. I ordered the fish with coleslaw after a long day of running errands. When I placed my order, they asked if I wanted two smaller pieces or a fillet. I wasn't sure, so I went with the fillet, not realizing that it was a whole fish! Tried it for the first time as the major lure for me was the fact that they have a lobster roll! Having eaten many on the East Coast, I was hoping someone would offer one here. The food is the star here. My lobster roll was made perfectly and the split top bun was toasted just the way I like it. A+ on the lobster roll! The lobster Mac and cheese was tasty and had a smokiness tonight that compliments the dish well. The fried oyster dish was some of the best we've ever had using this recipe. Soooo good! We have visited this restaurant multiple times and have consistently enjoyed each visit. They offer a variety of gluten-free options, which is important to us. The staff is friendly and provides quick service, the food is delicious with generous portions, and on weekends they have live acoustic music. We are looking forward to the option of sitting in their spacious outdoor area, weather permitting.
