Coastal Cookery - Reservar uma mesa

We had the best time, best food, best coffee and beer, and wait staff was friendly, fast, efficient, knowledgeable. We had fish and fries, local oysters, fresh ahi tuna bowl and dessert. WOW is understatement. The table had a view of the ocean close enough to feel like we were on a boat. The decor is interesting enough to be part of the conversation. Might want to make reservations for dinner, and during warmer months. Central, main street location make it difficult to find parking but not impossible.

Friendly service and fabulous food on Marine drive in Powell River. Literally five solid “hits” with zero misses. Roasted Brussels sprouts were brown, crunchy, laced with walnuts and dry cheese. Mussels were some of best we’ve had for years: plump, tasty, done perfectly in a not-salty broth. Salmon burger was an immense slab of salmon, with side Caesar salad. Fish and chips likewise perfect. Light vanilla cheesecake was perfect dessert- savored over sunset view. Impressive!

menu items are marked as vegetarian, but nothing is labeled as vegan. I called ahead to ask about vegan options and then I asked my server personally - and every time I answer different to what could be made vegan, so be careful to confirm. what we got, the Buddha's shelves and roasted Brussels sprouts, were both satisfied. but it would have been better to have clearly labeled vegan options or at least a consistent answer from employees, which could be vegan meals.

We had the extreme pleasure of having dinner here while in Powell River! From service to food to ambience all was so great! Started with Brussel sprouts and squid and both where so delicious not a single morsel was left! We followed with veggie burger and beef lettuce cups which were both amazing! Our server was attentive and lovely! We will definitely be back when visiting this amazing small town! Thank-you!!!

The menu offers lots of choices and the deck has quite a good view. The lingcod was perfectly cooked and the rest was delicious. The Buddha bowl was very good.
