Coffee and Cakes - Reservar uma mesa

Have just moved to Canada, and loving it, apart from the coffee situation. I've been looking for a good cappuccino and some friendly Canadian service. Unfortunately found neither here. My first rude Canadians at the counter, brusque service would have been an improvement. Four unfriendly and frankly inhospitable. Even if the coffee had. Even good, it would have been soured by the attitude. Soup was nice, and other offerings looked good, other customers didn't seem unhappy with their food. I might give it another go later, but honestly will probably head up the road to Toast and Walnut for a more pleasant and hopefully tastier experience.

I was a bit surprised to find at 11:30 am on a Saturday the bread and dip for the daily sandwich had already run out. Then my tart was very very stale and the girl replaced it but I was not offered any money back for the cheaper dessert I was given as a replacement. It's hard to maintain high standards and I enjoy the coffee at this shop but the food for the price should at least be as advertised.

Been at this Bowmanville gem a number of times since it's opened. Great little place for a nice coffee or tea & a treat while doing the hard job of shopping.Offers many gluten free options with amazing taste which is a real treat! Have taken many of their baked goods to friends & they are a smashing success!

Fantastic little patisserie and lunch place for those wanting a touch of refinement and ambiance in downtown bowmanville! A quiet oasis with prompt and courteous staff with a fun selection of cakes and pastries that fill the mind and belly. Coffee and tea here are wonderful!

The place itself is very cute I was there on a date with my husband tried few deserts but nothing to rave about.
