Coffee Bean - Reservar mesa

I visited this cafe for the first time with my family when they came to visit. We had purchased some fancy cakes from the Millar bakery earlier and brought them with us in a bag. The drinks at the cafe were just average. We left the cafe at 4:45, but soon realized we had accidentally left the bag of cakes behind. We drove back and arrived at 4:55 to collect them, only to discover that the cafe had closed early, despite the sign saying they were open until 5. We went around to the back to see if they were still there and caught the staff with our bag of cakes in their hands. Instead of keeping the items safe behind the counter for us to collect the next day, they had helped themselves to one...

On a shopping visit in Blaby we decided to give this place a chance to show us what they had on offer for lunch. A nice day, so we sat outside. Menu was very limited but we both went for the jacket potatoes... a rather expensive choice for such simple fare. A mistake. Both of them were cold and unappetising and our meal was further spoilt by two smokers who sat down next to us and puffed away. I would have thought that this was not only unpleasant and rude but also illegal as I thought even tables outside a cafe still qualified as being on the premises. Any way, we would not go back and would advise others to stay away.

I'm happy to report that the Coffee Bean is still just as good as it has always been. I enjoyed a delicious and affordable full English breakfast, along with a pot of tea. All of the items were of high quality and served hot. Although we were informed that there would be a wait for our food due to the busy crowd, the wait was not too lengthy.

I chose a bacon egg cob, £2.95 and my husband had a standard breakfast, £4.95. Both were really good, plenty of very nice bacon in my cob. The coffee was very good too, nice and mellow. Will definitely be returning and would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. Reserve uma mesa agora

Been to this cafe for lunch a number of times and always had a breakfast. Had a jacket potato this time. Potato was not hot and tuna mayo was very cold so it was a poor experience for me this time. Other person had a breakfast that was OK and tea was good.

This restaurant has recently changed hand and has been taken over by Vanessa the previous owner of The Rose Garden Cafe at Blaby Golf Centre. She brings with her the ongoing excellence she was renowned for and I wish her well in this her new venture.

Been here loads of times. Lovely breakfast, freshly made. Staff are friendly. Good value for money. They do lovely cobs or baguettes with different filling.

Nice cafe to grab a bite to eat while shopping in Blaby. The coffee is excellent. They offer a variety of small meals, but nothing overly impressive. Reserve uma mesa agora

Popped into Blaby with my family at the weekend and had a great breakfast. Quick service and food was very good . Will go back again
