I was happy to get a reservation for my father's funeral reception, which was for 50 people. However, I was a bit disappointed with the limited food options provided for the price I paid. There was only one small roll per person. Additionally, the service was slow as only one bartender was working, causing delays in serving drinks to the guests. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for a large event like a funeral reception.

I stopped for a meal on my way back from Scotland to Teesside at the Lindisfarne Inn. It was the worst meal I have ever had. The fish and chips were a disaster - the fish was cooked in warm oil, the batter was soggy, the fish didn't taste fresh and had a stale flavor, and the chips were overcooked and soggy like the batter. Overall, it was a terrible dining experience. I do not recommend eating here.

It was difficult to even get started. My father's funeral was booked for 50 people, but there were a few extra guests, which I offered to pay for. However, we were only provided with one small plate of sausage rolls for 50 people. Guests were left waiting at the bar for drinks as there was only one staff member on duty. I would not recommend this restaurant for a busy gathering.

I attended a reception dinner at this restaurant following a friend's funeral. The staff was hospitable and attentive, showing sensitivity to our emotions. The breakfast buffet was superb.
