This place has a nostalgic touch and a genuine down-home vibe. The only thing that impressed me more than the flawless food was the customer service. WONDERFUL as always! If you're looking for good old-fashioned home-cooked meals, this is the place to be! Jackie runs a tight ship with a dedicated and hardworking staff. I've had mixed feelings about many restaurants, but not about Come-N-Git It! When a restaurant claims to serve homemade food, I expect nothing less than from-scratch preparations, and that’s exactly what you get here—25 gallons of homemade goodness every day! There are no pre-formed beef patties or quick-fix mixes in sight. Every time I visit, I find the place to be SPOTLESSLY clean, the food is consistently excellent, and the service is top-notch. We saw it was rated high on Google and decided to swing by. The food came out of the kitchen hot and fast. The shrimp was sweet. The catfish was flakey. The potatoes tasted like the ones you get at the fair. I could not stop eating the fried onions. The batter was awesome. It tasted just like how I make fried onions at home. Come N Git It was a sweet little find in Martinsville and I recommend y'all stop and visit if you're passing through sometime.

I just had the best burger I’ve had in years! It reminded me of how beef is supposed to taste in a burger, and it was simply delicious. I can't wait to enjoy another one. The sides were also excellent, but this burger took me back to my childhood. At 65, I’ve eaten a lot of burgers, and I can confidently say this one ranks among the top three I’ve ever had! Really good food!!!!! Wish there was more seating space. Always busy (for a good reason. and the dining area is pretty small and narrow. If they moved into a larger building, they'd deffinately fill that lobby as well!

That was the best breakfast I had on this earth in my 40 years. The quality and size of the portions was also matched by the service. This is definitely my new weekly breakfast break.

If you're looking for a place with exceptionally friendly staff, this might be it! The prices are a bit higher, but the large iced tea is definitely worth it.
