This place is kinda pricey for what it is. The waiter came to take our drink orders and he explained where their products came from. They try to get local products which is amazing! Overall good service. For drinks we ordered 3 **** Caesars,4 beers and a cocktail. The drinks came in a timely matter and the cocktail was very good. The waiter brought mini Masson jar of Popcorn. We ordered fries and mayo,cheese plate, portobello spinach and cheese,onion soup,arancini(+2$ when you order an entree and beef tartar with foie gras poêlée(+6$ . My group of 12 had originally meant to dine at a seafood place up the street but due to the poor information we received when we called to make a reservation, we ended up here. Good for us! We were pleasantly greeted and seated. Our drink order was taken as the staff member serving us provided guidance on the local beers offered. He further explained the menu to assist us making our decisions and left to fill our drink order. As my group discussed the menu, I watched our server as he prepared...no, CRAFTED our drinks. Visited for brunch. The presentation of the menu, the location itself, marketing lead us to expect a lovely plate. However, the product did not measure up to the expectation we were given nor the price paid. If the price would have been 50% of what it was, I would have thought ok . My food was cold, the breakfast potatoes looked and tasted very ordinary, and my egg was not even cooked right. And, the waitress told me that I should have expected the egg to be that way, it was a matter of taste. Sorry, but when the egg white fights back, the egg should not be presented to a customer.

While it wasn't what we expected, as the menu is strictly appetizers, it turned out to be fantastic. We dont speak French, and they haven't got English menus, but the server took the time to explain exactly what was in each dish. She was extremely knowledgable, and knew the menu inside and out. There was two of us, I had the oysters and the rabbit, and my friend had the pancetta and a gourmet poutine. Flavours mingled together perfectly. Great selection of local beer, and decent scotch for after dinner. Definitely will be back.

We eat here almost every week, and the menu is always out of this world! The service is great and the athmosphere is the best in town!!
