Contra - Reservar mesa

When one of our favorite coffee shops moved, we were slow in warming up to the new one. We didn't visit it for over a year but rediscovered Contra Cafe when walking our dog and it now we are regulars with the barista knowing our order as we walk in the place. Tucked away from the main streets in the Dupont/Christie area, this coffee shop has a great atmosphere, amazing pastries and delicious lattes. Great eating in our outside on their patio. A neighbourhood favourite!

the contra cafe is a beautiful small town part. I often travel at the weekends during or after a bike tour for a small break and pick me up. the service is friendly, but very light on the slow side (it is understandable if you consider how small the shop is, and that it is in the regular only two people working.) the seats are limited in the interior, but there is a beautiful small walkway terrace where I usually try to get a table. 4.5/5 Caffeine Stars

Toronto's beauty is not in its main streets (often ugly or uninteresting), but in the little villages grouped around its main streets, with secondary streets filled with charming gardens and houses, huge trees and much peacefulness. One way to discover this side of Toronto is to go to the Contra Café, at the corner of two such streets, Shaw and Yarmouth. Coffee is great and the pastries excellent.

such a wonderful caffe. they have some interior and exterior seats, many delicious baked goods and fantastic coffee. have I mentioned the gluten-free selection? the clementine almong cake is one of the most amazing things I've ever had. pistachio cookies also fantastic. I have to have everything that wasn't great. more solid coffee, as I said. please support this little business! Reserve uma mesa agora

I've now tried about 6 coffee shops in Toronto east and west and Contra is the best so far for getting work done being able to concentrate. They have free wifi for customers. The people are very friendly, like to talk about baking and coffee and they know how to make a latte. The sandwiches and pastries are very good and change from day to day.

I live half a block from away from Contra, but however visit in three or four times each time the same man is working he's the owner from my understanding after three customer service base of the insurance the highest quality of equipment and products...More

my opinion after one of the best caffes with amazing coffee and from this world baked! very professional staff. they will not be their best friends, but they are always very pleasant and efficient that I love. Thank you for making our tomorrow great.

A newcomer to the area, I tried Contra and was blown away. Sweet staff, gorgeous pastries and lovely space. Had a quiet spot to work and enjoy my delicious chai latte. Met some friendly moms and babies too. I will be back....daily! Reserve uma mesa agora
