Coombe Cellars Newton Abbot

A pleasant Gastro Pub with a lovely outlook across the river. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is looking a little tired and grubby in places. Unfortunately our food was very average and leaning towards the over cooked side of things. Yes is was well presented, but it was not up to the price point. We had a nice evening nonetheless.

beautiful scenery from this pub! good food and lovely service. vegan options aren't the most exciting (particularly the mains, nothing special there but they were decent hummus/falafel starter and the apple crumble for dessert! told them it was my birthday and they went out of their way to make it a special evening :

What a night ! Simply this is some of the best food I've had! I would highly recommend the Pork and scallops, They were simply to die for! The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our entire meal and they put us on a table with beautiful view over looking the waters.

Visited for a 1230 Saturday birthday lunch . All booked online and window seat waiting as requested when we arrived. Staff were fab, food and drink amazing…. Esp lovely to have flavoured tonic on draft and views to die for. Will definitely be returning many thanks

Great place to have a drink outside on the estaury. Driving there is a bit tight on these roads. Food is very nice but not a lot of choice for gluten-free. Free parking. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Loverly place in summer.
