I went to this restaurant with a large group to celebrate a birthday. There were 18 of us, but we were seated at two separate tables back to back, which was disappointing because we had pre-booked and wanted to be all together. The food was average with a decent selection, but some dishes were dried out and not refilled when empty. We arrived at 7:30pm and the atmosphere was chaotic, like a noisy school canteen or a crowded holiday camp. The staff seemed stressed and made mistakes with our orders every time. I tried to suggest moving to the bar to alleviate the problem, but we were not allowed. Overall, it was a frustrating experience and not something I would recommend.
This place has really gone downhill since it opened, £20.00 buys you greasy noodles, a very limited selection of food, lots of empty trays, cheap and nasty food. The Management are too busy with their own importance to be of any use. Waitresses walk straight pass you and ignore the plates on the table. The food is left out for so long it dries out and tastes awful. What has gone wrong, it was a Saturday lunch and the place was nearly empty, so it's not just me that's dissatisfied. I won't be eating there again, they have had their chance and blew it , as they say!
We went on a Friday evening and were glad we ignored the other reviews. There was a wide selection of decent food: pork, duck, curries, mussels, sushi, soups, ice cream, cakes, fruit, pizza, chips, nuggets......even a chocolate fountain, soft scoop machine and teppanyaki with scallops. Sure ribs were a bit overdone and duck doesn't refill very often but the price is amazing! Other buffets have closed down, severely limited options, plunged in quality or massively increased prices. This is the last decent place I know.
I like Dimsum so I asked the chef there and he said they only serve bao buns steamed buns on weekends and only limited dishes on weekdays. Whatever I asked it’s only served on weekends. Most of the food is not that good. Some dishes have no flavour at all. Chocolate fountain is not working Sushi is a disaster Fried rice and rice items are disaster Lamb ribs are worst they taste like rubber Been to that place few times but never again
Came to Cosmo Romford with my son and he thoroughly enjoyed the variety of food on the Cosmo menu. He particularly likes the grill where the food is grilled by the chef in front of you. The food is hot and delicious. The lady that served us was amazing and they check on you to make sure you’re okay. We had a lovely bonding time over dinner at Cosmo.
Food was ok, but not replenished very quick, so you are always waiting for food. They try to get as many customers in and they have to pay before you eat so you cant leave without paying as it is not a great experience. Too many people,Not enough food. Dont know if it is busy on weeknights but Saturday night was like a cattle market.
