Costa Coffee - Reservar uma mesa

The barista making the coffee was extremely rude to customers. While I was patiently waiting for my coffee, she muttered loud enough for the queue to hear to the girl at the register about her lunch break, saying "don't worry, they can wait!" and also remarked that we shouldn't be out because of the lockdown. Although I understand the need for safety measures, Costa was open for takeaways and this behavior was unacceptable. The barista should not have been shouting at customers, even though we were all following social distancing guidelines by standing on the designated circles. This incident occurred on Saturday the 14th at 3:00 pm.

So me and my girlfriend poped into the store after a long day at Thorpe park, spoke to a lovely lady called Kim, who was not very well but was working like a trooper and had a lovely convo with her at the end of the day, a man called Shane was really nice too and recommend cinnamon buns to us and they were beautiful! It was so clean too! Think we have found our new favourite costa store!

The coffee was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The mature cheese and ham toastie was delicious. Unfortunately, they were short-staffed and many of the tables were old and in need of replacing or refinishing as they were dirty and had not been cleared.

I left the restaurant because the hygiene was incredibly poor. I went in for coffee and a snack with my partner, but we were met with a very unpleasant sight.

Very nice coffee nice outdoor seating area staff are really nice and friendly and also the parking is free up to 3 hours
