Costa Coffee - Reservar mesa

My fiancé and I visited Costa in the seaside town of Frinton on sea on September 4th. As a regular customer at Costa in London, I was shocked by the condition of the shop there. The toilets were particularly dirty and the customer service was below par. We ordered two chocolate fudge brownie frappes, but noticed that there was excess frappe leftover in the jug after our drinks were poured. Instead of saving it for another customer, the employee filled the jug with tap water and poured the leftovers down the sink. We were disappointed by this wasteful behavior and found it unacceptable. What a filthy place? Went there today 31stJanuary sat down looking forward notice some chairs with spindle backs black chairs and the back where the spindles join the chairs thick dust,I asked a passing girl server who cleans here? she said we do I said thought perhaps had a blind cleaner look at the dust. Could tell she was used to comments as said nothing walked away. Thankfully we only had a drink each. I went to the toilet disgusting paper and sanitary items on the floor water all over the floor disgrace. Will not go back there again. Plenty better in Frinton for drinks that are clean. Goodness knows who the manager is but he does not know how to manager staff that is for sure. Suprised...

I am sorry to say that upon walking into the restaurant, I noticed that the tables were still full of dirty cups and trays. I took it upon myself to move them before taking a seat. The tables were visibly dirty and in need of cleaning. The cafe was not busy, making it easy to spot when someone vacates a table. I believe it is important for the staff to clear and wipe down empty tables promptly. Additionally, the fabric seats to the right were very stained and dirty, prompting me to decide not to stay after cleaning up. This took place today on 27/10/23. I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, the coffee was perfect, and the toast with marmalade was delicious. The seating area was clean and well-organized. My only suggestion would be to add thicker cushions to the chairs for more comfort. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for brunch. The price per person is between £10-20 and the food and service both received a 5-star rating. The atmosphere was rated 4 stars. I have to say I’ve been in this costa a number of times and found it quite dirty. The floor needs a good clean, the window ledges are dirty along with the wood work and rails as you walk in. Cobwebs by the window that are also dirty. The chairs are fit for the tip which are stained and dirty. I thought it would have been improved since I last came here sadly not. The staff at this restaurant is fantastic, but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The table where I sat was not properly wiped down, so I had to clean it myself. Although there is WiFi available, it never seems to work for me while I am there. The coffee is also more expensive due to it being a franchise, I was told. It seems the owner really needs to focus on improving the overall service and maintenance of the establishment.

We arrived just before closing time and were greeted warmly by the very helpful staff. The drinks and food were excellent, and the staff were also very accommodating and friendly towards our grandson. It was the only place open on a Saturday at 5:30pm.

I do like coming to Costa in Frinton as it's local, but it really does need a refurbishment now, as the chairs in the windows are really getting tatty and are so hard and not very appealing. The coffee was good though. Reserve uma mesa agora
