Cote jardins - Reservar uma mesa

Poor experience. We've been here before and enjoyed a nice, relaxed French lunch, with views over the gardens. Unfortunately, this wasn't the time. We were left waiting 1/2 hour prior to ordering, and when the food eventually came (without the drinks) it was cold. We had to ask twice for our drinks. That order was wrong. Everything was too much trouble for the staff. In May, it wasn't too busy- I can only imagine what it's like at the height of season. I know this is a tourist location, but they seemed to go out of their way to avoid serving us and spoiling what should have been an enjoyable day. There are many other eateries in the Sarlat area. We called in to this restaurant after a lovely morning’s walk around the gardens. It was a breezy but sunny Spring day, and we sat on the terrace overlooking the garden a superb position The food was excellent (Menu du jour) and terrific value given the high quality of the food decent portions too. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. We were really made to feel welcome and our custom valued. We’d be delighted to return, even if not visiting the gardens (there is a 2€ discount per garden entry ticket). The restaurant is worthy of a trip in its own right, at least for lunch

You do not really come to Eyrignac to eat but after a visit to the exquisite gardens, a little something with a glass or two are welcome, especially won a beautifully sunny day. The restaurant is set near the garden entrance and the terrace offers beautiful views across formal gardens to the manor. The menu is simple, mostly open sandwiches, with excellent 'fried potatoes ', but with a few more complex plats including a 'omelet de Monsieur le Cure ' with capes and foie gras. There is decent local wine by the carafe. We had a pleasant end to a great morning at Eyrignac,

We had lunch at Côté Jardins after visiting the wonderful gardens at Eyrignac. The restaurant is part of the gardens. There are inside and outside areas overlooking the gardens. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu is dominated by their selection of sourdough toasts with various toppings, frites and salad, but there are a few other dishes too on the a la carte menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our smoked salmon and ham and cheese toasts. The gardens and lunch made a great day out at Eyrignac.

A nice outdoor seating area, but all the sun umbrella tables were occupied. Had to sit in the full sun for my average coffee. Around the side were the shades areas for dining but we were not allowed to use them for drinks.. Poor hospitality
