Booked a table in the attic for dinner. We were promptly surrounded by half cut punters shouting and swearing who had been diverted up from the bar downstairs. This is unacceptable and disrespectful to customers who have come specially for dinner. It should either be...a restaurant space or a pub, not both. It didn 't get much better... I 'm bring generous to say the servers were poor at their job. The were disinterested to the point of being arrogant. Very much gave the impression of being students who had no interest in doing their job. Put down soup and dessert without noticing we had no spoons!! Are you able to scan a room and not see a customer trying to get your attention? Are you haughty and willing to bang plates down on the table? Are you able to roll your eyes when a customer asks you politely to repeat what...you just said (because it’s loud and you both have masks on)? Well, get a job at Cottiers. I’ve been going to Cottiers for years, as it has a nice room and beer garden, but it amazes me that they take on staff and don’t train them. Recently, on a moderately busy Tuesday night, I was there with my partner and we both ordered fish and chips. good place for casual food and drinks. the menu is somewhat limited, but has different things for a lot of taste. it has a beer garden that is great in summer and they are dog friendly inside and outside. very much. from high times are happy here so that in summer there can be a high-time celebration. they have a quiz on a Tuesday night and the place is filled with it and there are various food and drinks offers during the week. the service is somewhat mixed and they sometimes end up at the bar that tries to be served for eating etc., as the workers do not visit regularly tables. they can eat or just drink at this place inside and outside. there is also a restaurant in the upper floor, but n...

we held our high time at cottiers and could not have been happier as the day came out. Erin and her team were very professional from the beginning and ensured that all small details were exactly organized as we wanted. the venue itself...stunning and the catering/drinks were all perfect. we are so happy that we chose this as our venue and would recommend to everyone to look for something quite different, grandiose, but intimate in glasgow. thanks to Erin and the Cottiers team:
