We got takeout, one meat and two sides. I ordered the pulled pork. It was lean without fat or gristle and delicious. The Lima beans, fried okra, hush puppies were delicious! My husband ordered the fried chicken and it was great. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back. My meal was enough for two meals. The District served my family and I with a smile. Took the time to answer my questions and give me some backround information on the owner's other establishments. The food was amazingly hot and fresh. Definitely worth every star. We drove about 25-30 minutes out of our way and again worth every mile. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience

Good food and you can't beat the price. I always get a take out. $10 for a generous portion of a meat and be sides. I can't eat it all. At that price you can't got to get a hamburger and fill up for dinner! Worth it!

Friendly service! Great food! Buffett cafeteria style and sectioned off tables made it feel safe, very clean restaurant. Good southern food. I will definitely go here again if I'm in the area
