Covered Bridge Inn A surprise. With the name I assumed that the Covered Bridge Inn would be a rustic place, land, meat and potatoes....not even nearby. It is a family-run Italian restaurant, complete with Italian speaking host (she also speaks English very well . There is a covered bridge a few blocks away and the decor is rustic, but the menu is usually Italian with a dose of lunch specialties and general American selection (Fries, Reuben's, etc.). My family and I visited the restaurant yesterday, honestly, because it was the only one in the area and I'm glad we did. The restaurant is small overall and the reception area is more so, but we were quickly welcomed and sitting. The staff was very friendly and attentive. When we sat, we went from a small buffet and asked our server what was at the buffet, she had no idea what her restaurant had. She was not knowledgeable at all, but the cook was close and jumped in and was great, with explanations of how the food was prepared, etc. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. We will definitely visit her again.

Awesome food, great staff! I will be coming back soon, a bit out of the way for me but really worth the drive!

This small Italian place is great. My husband and I love the lasagna. If you get a chance to stop.
