Cowfish Burgers & Sushi

I researched the restaurants in the Paipa/Duitama area ahead of a planned trip for the Xmas holidays. This one stood out as a place that looked intriguing for the combination of burgers and sushi. I was a little skeptical but the reviews were good so...we made a point of visiting the first night in the area. We shared a mixed plate of sushi and a Teriyaki burger with fries ! Wow !! All very tasty, freshly prepared and great homemade sauces alioli and chile Thai. They have a nice covered terrace or indoor seating so lunch or dinner both work as far as the weather is concerned. I was a bit over a place that offers both sushi and burger, but this place delivers to the ware. my friends and I tried the teriyaki burger, hühnertampura burger, and lachssushi with fried Casava(yuka) and rustic pommes as starter. the burgers. were in an interesting combination of aromen and were dressed with a sushi roll. the salmon sushi was nothing earth **** when they are a frequent sushi eater, but it was probably the best thing I had in Colombia. the house sauces are soou good, the garlic was my personal favorite. the natural sodadrink was also a winner. the place has a cool mood, the staff is super friendly, and the prices were modest. I have been living for a year as expat in tunja, boyaca, and cowfish, tunja sister restaurant to cowfish, duitama- is my usual hangout. eating is great and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I come here to do the work (big wifi .eat or socialize. cowfish is perfect for a quick bite, a real sit-down menu or for the time with a coffee or a beer. they always get the feeling that they are welcome to stay as long as they want. during my time in tunja I have observed how cowfish's popularity grows exponentially, both as a family-friendly restaurant and as a popular hangout for people who want to relax after work or class. definitiw my favorite place in tunja to relax!

their burgers are probably the best round, pleasant atmosphere and ok service make them back and forth. the sushi leaves much to be desired. it is very well presented, but it will not fulfill a good sushi knowr.
