Crazy Weed Kitchen

My colleague and I dined at this restaurant on the weekend because it has always been her favorite spot in Canmore. We had a reservation for 6 pm. When we made the reservation online, there was a stipulation that we must show up 10 minutes prior to the time otherwise we could lose our booking. We arrived at 530 and walked up to the front of the restaurant where the hostess (manager) was standing. She seemed irritated that we were there early, and proceeded to tell us that we couldn 't come in early because her staff would be overwhelmed. READ OUR STORY. We went here because it was featured in you gotta eat here. Food was pretty good. Did wait an hour to be seated, then another half an hour to be served dinner. The prices are outrageous.When we were paying the bill I accidentally put in 100% tip then noticed the waitress quickly put the receipt faced down and scurried away. When we looked at the receipt we had to go and find her to resolve the issue, this took another 20 minutes.

This is now our #3 restaurant of all time! (Right behind Laser Wolf In New York and a place in Ireland) The food was generous, well seasoned, original and delicious! Staff friendly and attentive! They were serving by reservation only because they are short staffed like many, but our waiter was on it!

Wonderful service and excellent food. My favorite restaurant in Canmore so far. Drinks were made perfectly and food was timed perfectly and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
