Creperie du Cygne - Reservar uma mesa

We had lunch here while visiting Chartres. We sat outside in a charming section of the old village. The restaurant has excellent buckwheat crepes. I had the super crepe that contains french cheese, ham and a full egg on top. Very tasty, although more subtle. I also tried the the crepe with smoked salmon, cheese, leeks. Those flavors were more powerful and in some ways more fun. All in all, I recommend it for a very good lunch at a reasonable price.

This restaurant sits in a lovely town square. Nice and delicious choice of savoury or sweet crêpés or ice cream. If you don't fancy a large dessert, give a café gourmand a try it's a small selection of desserts that come with a coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. They even came and gave my dog a bowl of water without asking and fussed over her. Good way to get on my good side.

Stopped for an aperitif and a crepe after an afternoon walking around town. The crepe was fresh and hot, Salted caramel topping was rich but light and the drinks were cold. All that on a pretty, quiet town square made for a good break!

Bravo au chef pour ses excellentes crêpes cuites avec de bons produits. Les glaces sont aussi d'enfer notamment la glace à la cerise. Le service de notre serveuse a été très agréable sans fioriture en toute simplicité.
